Twinkie Chan got me to check out this cute and very creative video by Hair art design and head piece creator Ryoji Imaizumi from Tokyo, So fun I had to share with you all… Enjoy!
Moody Blues Collection extract taken from Behind The Chair:
‘Forget about rigidity, structure, formalism and order. Here we have a slouchy, chic, mix-and-match vibe. Somehow still proper, but with huge dollops of innovation and a fresh take on the standard beehive, blunt bob, shag and long layers. All doused in the dusky light of a midwinter afternoon – that time of exquisite anticipation between day and night.’
Hair by Kieran Tudor from D&J Ambrose, Middlesex, UK (Shortlisted for British Hairdressing Awards London, Hairdresser of the Year.

I’ve already talked a lot about Dove and his work and you can check out other works I’ve posted by clicking Here, Here and Here..
Ex Artistic Director of Vidal Sassoon London who left to set up his own educational hair cutting and coloring institute along with his partner Jean-Baptiste Mazella – Mazella and Palmer.
The school has become world renowned but mostly thanks to their fantastic creative work, which comprises of beautiful and sharp shapes, precision cutting and angles at its best.
Here are 2 more to add to his collection, both for showing at educational classes.
1. Long disconnected layers with a round fringe..
2. A textured Salon Contemporary presentation model.
I would call this the extreme wig version of the ‘it’ style that you see everywhere, as in, the bob, one length, no layers with an added heavy fringe.
This cute look was done by Arturo Swayze (editorial stylist) on Rila Fukushima (Japanese fashion model and actress).
Here’s another version I came across on Christine-lewis/tumblr which showed the similar look, sharper, stronger with a shorter fringe, love them! (Make up by Christine Lewis, Photo by Franklin Thompson)
Vidal Sassoon would’ve turned 88 today… I cherish the years I worked in that company, I’m so lucky to have had my start and my strong foundations given to me by them, without them I would not have been able to just pick up my scissors and comb and go travel the world and work at the same time. My training is so valuable and enabled me to be free in my adventures and to be able to share the knowledge I picked up from them with many other hairstylists looking for that same strong foundation.
Happy Birthday to the ultimate Master Cutter, the stylist who revolutionized women’s hairstyle and gave them to freedom of wash and wear. Thank You <3

Cool little video from BuzzFeed Eugene, not too sure about the long layers but other than that, thumbs up! Stylist David Dang…
One of my absolute favorite stylists, Angelo Seminara who is Artistic Director for Davine’s Product Company. Those of you who follow me, know that I always try to post as many collections from Angelo as possible. I find his work to be positively inspiring, unique and ultra creative. Here is his Games Collection for you to check out.
Excerpt taken from angeloseminara.com
‘Almost tribal in character, Angelo’s inspiration for this collection is underpinned by the tactile textures of the natural world: snakes shedding their skin, light casting diffused shapes through diaphanous fronds and leaves; fish scales, bird feathers, wood grains, slate, rock and marble striations. Combined or singular, the images capture nature’s strength in an enchanting, evocative way.’
