Colored Bobs ~ so now!

Have you noticed how many bobs are out there nowadays? Maybe we can Thank the movie Gone Girl for its sudden influx but what’s great for me,  is the mix of all these wonderful modern colors mixed with bobs of all shapes, lengths and textures Here’s a couple I came across recently, including Lily Allen’s.

My Pick ~ Big Hair

Obviously not an every day look for most people but I love the texture, shape and messiness of this look so much, that I wish I did see shapes like this on a daily basis. Looks like we could credit ‘dry shampoo’ to creating this look.

Unfortunately this picture was found with no credits to the stylist and original website so if anyone knows of the original artist, please let me know..

My Pick – Green

I will always remember being told when I lived in Hong Kong that wearing/having green in or on your hair means that you are a ‘lady of the night’ (their words not mine) Since then I’ve always been conscious not to have green in my hair, whether it was extensions (which I had then) or even flowers while living in Asia.

But, fast forward 20years and with all these gorgeous green hair pictures floating around, how can we even resist! Maybe we should just be ‘ladies of the night’ even if for a short stint..could be quite interesting!

Dekko’s Daily Grind ~ Kerina

Our favorite model/client Kerina comes in and changes her hair quite often, this is one of the reasons I wanted Kerina to be the face of Juju Chan’s first product Texture Powder Styler.

This picture shows the first step to her next change ~ going blonde and going back to her fringey look.

I (as usual) forgot to take the ‘before’ picture until after we shampooed, hence the wet hair, but anyway you can still get the idea. We cut the hair a little shorter this time, but went for a full on rounded fringe. Jill (Dekko’s co- owner and colorist) used L’Oreal to start the first stages of going lighter. Hair was styled with Oribe products.

I will keep you posted with each step of the way to show you the finished result…
