Love me some traditional Chinese headdresses. Wish I could wear them every day!
Angelo Seminara
One of my absolute favorite stylists, Angelo Seminara who is Artistic Director for Davine’s Product Company. Those of you who follow me, know that I always try to post as many collections from Angelo as possible. I find his work to be positively inspiring, unique and ultra creative. Here is his Games Collection for you to check out.
Excerpt taken from angeloseminara.com
‘Almost tribal in character, Angelo’s inspiration for this collection is underpinned by the tactile textures of the natural world: snakes shedding their skin, light casting diffused shapes through diaphanous fronds and leaves; fish scales, bird feathers, wood grains, slate, rock and marble striations. Combined or singular, the images capture nature’s strength in an enchanting, evocative way.’

Getting there with my Curl Cream..
After months and months of testing and researching, I am finally steps away from making a fabulous curl cream for all you curly haired people. #holdwithshine #jujuchanproducts #product#2 #peopleloveit #hairproducts #babysteps
I can’t say its been easy, I have come close quite afew times, but it seemed that if I had plenty of shine, there was no hold, then when I got the hold there was no shine! Finally after working with my manufacturers for soo long, I’m happy with this formula and I’m on my way to finishing up with the packaging.
Here’s 2 of my main testers Tiffany and Violet, who also happen to be part of our loyal staff at Dekko. Both looked so great using my BOUNCE curl cream that I had to take a picture of them, Thanks to all others who helped me test and test again.
Watch this space, updates coming soon…

My Favorite ‘50 Shades of Grey’ Character ~
I, like everyone else went to watch 50 shades of Grey last night ~ on opening night. Yes I read all the books and absolutely hated them. Which meant that I was pleasantly surprised that I did not vomit while watching this movie. I’m not here to add yet another review to the other thousands out there but I really wanted to draw attention to my favorite ‘character’ in the movie that caught my attention!
From the very beginning, Anastasia Steele’s fringe (bangs) had a life of its own, I couldn’t help but notice, it went short, and then longer and back to short again, up and down, choppy to straight, full to split, all within the 90 miles she drove from home to Seattle.
Not that I didn’t like them, in fact we (as in me and my Dekko hairdresser mates who went) were convinced clients would now be coming in asking for the Anastasia fringe. Yikes – which part? Dakota Johnson’s hairdresser Mark Townsend will be happy his client is the talk of the town, although he didn’t actually cut the fringe for the movie, sorry I cant give credit to whoever did do it.
But anyway, it must’ve been really really tough for the continuity team, I know how hard it is to keep a choppy fringe the same every time you cut it, let alone for every scene! Anyway, just for fun, here’s what I mean…
And in my humble opinion, If I were a client and wanted this fringe, I would take this picture in to show the stylist..
Pierced Braids!!
Found this article on Refinery29 about pierced braids. A nice unique way of dressing hair up and down at the same time. I would call it a ‘punk princess’ look. Rita Ora, Kelly Osborne and hairstylist Kristin Ess, all adorned with hoops, loops and safety pins to accent their braids.
What do you think? Would you wear it or not?
My Pick–Short Bob
Yet another cute bob to help all you people who are thinking of changing their looks this year and are wanting to choose a variation of a bob. I love this one because it short, sassy and sexy, it has plenty of movement and also has that feminine short choppy fringe, Lovely!
